Officially: Tiger Woods Retired from As the World’s Number One Golf Player

World number one golfer Tiger Woods have to give up his title to the German golfer Martin Kaymer or English golfer Lee Westwood.

The position of golfer Tiger Woods as world number one for five years will end. Peak positions will be contested by German golfer Martin Kaymer and British golfer Lee Westwood. Rank is determined based on the average value obtained in the last two years, where Woods missed a lot of golf tournaments due to injuries and personal problems.

25-year-old Kaymer could occupy the top position if he won the Andalucia Masters held in Valderrama, Spain on Thursday. He also will get value if it is enough to pass Woods finished in second place and a draw with no more than one other player.

But when Kaymer, who now occupy the top three of the world, failed to take over the top, Westwood could reach it. Westwood is known as the world’s number two golf player; in addition, Woods did not compete this weekend.
